How QR Code Generation works
Choose a payload type, fill the short form, and the generator builds the exact standard payload string (shown under the form), renders it locally with Reed-Solomon error correction, and lets you download PNG or vector SVG. Wi-Fi codes follow the WIFI: convention that stock phone cameras understand; contacts are vCard 3.0.

What it means: Because the payload string is shown verbatim, you can verify exactly what the code does before printing it. Special characters in the SSID or password are escaped automatically so the code still parses.
Watch out
Common mistakes
- Use the highest error correction level (H, 30%) when QR codes will be printed on materials that might get damaged. Use lower levels (L, 7%) for digital screens where clarity is guaranteed and you want maximum data density.
